ASP Class Interacts with ESL Students at CCC

ASP students from Professor Hernandez' Academic Reading and Writing class and Professor Jipping's Listening and Speaking class recently had an interesting experience with ESL students attending Chemeketa Community College in Salem. Billed as a conversation opportunity, students prepared general "interview" questions to ask the other ESL students. There were many nationalities represented in the Chemeketa class, including Nigeria, Thailand, Mexico, China, Taiwan, Colombia, Aruba, Haiti, and Saudi Arabia. ASP students had a wonderful time learning about the various experiences of the Chemeketa students.
